Contemporary Ceramics for the Contemporary

Traditional ceramics made contemporary
We collaborate with the Bone China industry in Stoke on Trent to produce contemporary ceramics. Much of the ceramic industry has moved abroad but there still exists an industry of mould makers, model makers, casters and other key makers. Resulting in a mix of their traditional skills and our contemporary designs.
English Bone China with a Japanese Twist
Bone china was developed in England by Josiah Spode the second around 1800 and is a part of the Porcelain family. Distinctive for their ivory white appearance, it is extremely hard and lets light through. With Japanese roots, Reiko Kaneko instinctively brings in a Japanese spirit to this traditional, British craft.
