A fine bone china vessel in blue, decorated with clouds built up in white bone china using pâte-sur-pâte, the technique of layering and carving away liquid clay to create translucent relief. The exterior is matt and unglazed; the interior is glazed. Inspired and painted by real clouds, and it has really made me look up.
Fine Bone China, Glazed.
Dishwasher and Microwave Safe.
Vase, 7.5cm d. x 16cm h. Vol 340.
